Project Management class :)

Last day of PM & a mini seminar

December 12, 2015 was the last day of our Project Management class. And we spent it to have some mini seminar by Sir Greffin of Globe Telecoms. The talked went well and I was inspired because it seems that the job of a project manager was challenging yet fulfilling. The extra knowledge that the speaker shared with us was very useful. He told us his journey on becoming a PM and that gives me an idea of what career I could take. To summarize the mini seminar, it was good and very important for us. It enlightens us about what the real world can be. And because of this, I would like to thank Sir Greffin for sharing his knowledge about Project Management to us.

Just like the phrase, “take every opportunity”, that was mentioned in the seminar (which is also my most favorite advice), I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Instructor in Project Management class, Ma’am Kit.

Thank you Ma’am  for sharing your knowledge with us and for your patience. Sorry for all our bad habits (like talking and talking). And thank you for letting us experience having a real client. It teaches us to accept every challenge and to bring the best out of us.

Grazie Maestro!

Evaluation for IS 206

Every Thursday, 7:00 am – 10:00 am, was our IS 206 or our Business Process Modelling class. And our professor was Ms. Kit Valmadrid, who was also our substitute professor last semester. Since she was disappointed on our class on our last meeting last semester, I taught that she would be angry when she meet our class. But I was wrong, because she was just chill and cool. I learned so much about life, and about our course because of her. I was so inspired because of her advice and stories about what we should do and what we should not is so accurate. I also admired her because of what she was right now. Even thought that her quizzes is really hard because it’s long and needs a lot of memorization. But what I realized is that just  memorizing and not appreciating (or learning by heart) the lessons would not mean anything. Because that’s what studying was all about – giving value and understanding it.

What I like about our Professor?

She’s awesome in her on way. I remember one time when she told us that she doesn’t want doing nothing. That’s why I can tell that she’s awesome because she enjoys what she do and do what she needs to do.

What I like about IS 206?

What I love about this class is the atmosphere, because our professor is just like a friend but we, of course, have a great respect on her.  Also, this class makes us learn to explore business’ side. We did a study on a company, we analyzed it and give a process that could improve their old process.

What I hate about IS 206?

IT’S A 7 AM CLASS. NOTHING MORE.

And because of that I’ll give 5 out of 5 stars for IS 206!

To the world you may just be a teacher, but to your students you are a HERO.

ICS 120 : August 5, 2014 / Week 2

Our second meeting was supposed to be last week, but because it was declared a holiday we didn’t have our class (of course). So our instructor gave us an assignment which is to make a typography of our biography. It was fun but at the same time, challenging.

What happened today? We did our first laboratory activity which is to make a layout of our own resume at codecademy. It was quite easy because we already done it on the tutorial. I just edited the properties of my div and Continue reading

ICS 120- July 22, 2014 / Week 1

At first, I really don’t know what this subject is all about. But when our instructor introduced the subject, I got excited because I know it will be fun learning web designs.  The first thing we do was registered on pbworks, which is new to me.  I really don’t know what it was all about because that was the first time I heard about it. We are also asked to make our own account at codecademy, which is also new to me and Continue reading
